She joined dance as a young girl. With a passion and zeal for excellence, she learned from an early age the power of discipline, mindset, and focus. At first, her pursuit of excellence started with herself, but eventually led her to leadership when she captained her Minnesota top-five high school dance team. Coming off of a ton of growth as an individual and a leader, she thought “I’ve got it all figured out” as she headed into college.
SHE THOUGHT WRONG
Life threw Lindsey a curveball when she got cut from her college dance team auditions heading into her freshman year. For the first time in her life, Lindsey realized she had no idea who she was outside of her identity as a “dancer”. In search of herself, she began to dabble in all sorts of things: coaching group fitness, living in Europe, joining different college communities, working as a web developer in a large corporation, overspending, etc. Nothing worked. Lindsey began to settle for a version of her life that left her feeling uninspired and dull.
FINALLY, LINDSEY WOKE UP
Lindsey realized “nothing’s going to change if I don't make a change”. She started to get in touch with her inner wisdom and with what God wanted for her life. She realized that she was made for more. Her journey inward led her back to herself and back to dance after five years away from it. She went on to spend a season with the NFL as an Professional Cheerleader.
